We saw a few ideas floating around on simple Thanksgiving Decorating ideas and thought we would share them! Most of these can be done with things found around your home too!
Here’s a round up of some simple ideas:
Spray paint real or fake pumpkins. The glitter and shiny spray paints are especially awesome!
Using hollowed out Bell Peppers, pumpkins, gourds, etc. as a flower pot!
The Thankful Tree. I love this simple idea! This is one the whole family would love. My boys can’t seem to go outside without collecting a fistful of sticks. Well, it looks like I can put them to use! Then we can make a thankful tree! How sweet!
What a simple and elegant idea – ribbon on a pumpkin! It’s gorgeous! Even combine the spray paint and ribbon idea together for an even more unique decoration!
How brilliant! I have plenty of “empty” long and short stem candlestick holders that would be perfect for this idea of placing mini pumpkins on top of a candle holder. Dress it up even more with ribbon, bows and even spray painted pumpkins!
Do double duty with a festive scent that doubles as decor! Homemade cinnamon stick candle holders!
Pincones in a basket or bowl with hurricane candle! Very simple and yet very elegant!
Dry beans, corn and split peas for a nice design for a candle holder!
Upside down wine glasses with decor of any fall type under! You can also get odd and end wine glasses very cheap at a thrift store!
Or flip the glass right side up and use it as a single flower bud vase (like at each place setting would be so elegant!).
Miscellaneous glass containers filled with mini pumpkins and gourds.
